Always a pleasure drawing the guests of one of my favourite clients. Other than doing what I love most, drawing, at these live Illustration sessions, , I always look forward to the interesting conversations with the people I meet. I am quite capable of drawing and painting and my eyes on the paper in front of me at the same time while still having a chat about fashion and art (of course!), music, travel and even C-dramas. Anything, as long as it is not politics and finance!
Calligraphy for Piaget’s “Sunlight Escape” Private Dinner
These iridescent invitation cards were one of the most beautiful ones that I have written for.
Do you remember me posting about writing some really small dinner place cards? Well, you can see how small they really are on the table setting in the last image below. Sophisticated, stylish and elegant - exactly the Piaget way.
Calligraphy of Personalised Names and Monograms on Leather Card Holders for Piaget
Nothing is better than a unique gift that has been personalised just for you.
I have been asked by Piaget to write names and monograms in gold on their beautiful leather card holders. Just as how the foliage prints on each card holder is different, the names and monograms were all uniquely handwritten.
Thank you, Piaget, for entrusting me to help create these truly thoughtful gifts this festive season.
Fashion Illustration for Carat 55 Christmas Party
It was such a delight to be invited to illustrate for all the lovely guests at Carat 55's Christmas Party. To reinforce Carat 55's branding on the illustration card, I illustrated the facade of their boutique as well as their brand mascot, a pink giraffe which was also made a standee for photo ops at the event.
It was a beautiful cool evening filled with warm laughter and friendly faces. So it didn’t really seem like work while I was there Live Drawing for the fabulous guests. And among them are these beautiful ladies who stayed back a little more so that each one of them had her own fashion illustration drawn.
